Sri Help Needed Quick

hey guys i need some help before dad gets home haha. i am installing my sri and was wondering wut the hell the extension on the main silver tube is. It's made from the same metal, its just really thin and i dont know wut plugs in to it or where the tube is i need to put there. I already put in the Oxygen sensor. Also, should it just hang freely in the engine compartment or should it be holding onto something. thanks

On my 95 5S-FE there was only one Bung on the SRI for a sensor.

And that was for the AIT sensor (air intake temp)

What motor are you talking about? Regardless of what it is, there's no oxygen sensor in the air intake... It's either an AIT for a 4cyl as keep mentioned, or an MAF (mass air flow) sensor. But really, take pictures man, there should only be one pipe for an SRI. Maybe this "extension" is a metal connector of some sort? If that's the case it probably goes onto your throttle body, with the SRI on the other end. If you bought one of those cheap SRIs off of eBay, you're going to have to rig up a bracket to hold it in place, you can't just let it hang. Here's the bracket I made out of what came with mine:

I know what your talking about. I have a 92 Corolla. I don't know what that other part is & instead of making another hole for it, I left that whole section alone and cut the tube so it would just fit on that section but the stock airbox was removed. I didn't want to bother modding another part. It fits in now & is very snug.......
