area between the shifter and center console
sometimes it gets really hot to the touch on the surfaces of this area. it happens when ive been driving for a while or long distances. is this normal, maybe its residual heat from what the engine is producing, or is something else going on. i drive a gen3 xle v6, im talking about the area where theres like a little pocket... between the shifter and center storage console. actually the shifter bezel gets pretty hot too, and no its not from the light bulb. it happens during the daytime too, when the bulb is off.
