MIRT System - Changing Red Lights to Green Lights

Anyone every tried this?? It doesn't seen too hard and it is fairly cheap. However it is also very illegal. But that doesn't mean its not fracking brilliant!

Car and Driver's Daniel Pund tried it, he has an Editorial on it somewhere. But.... for the most part it made ozone smelling stuff and didn't work. Theres only like a dozen lights in the entire U.S. that are able to change because of the MIRT system anyway.

A dozen?? I can see hundreds in my city alone.

Of course, as of this week, it is a federal offense to operate one of these in your car.
