I got pulled over today for my window tint. I WASNT EVEN FUCKING speeding! The cop tested it and said it was 32. The legal limit in Ohio is 50 so I got a fucking ticket. Now I need to go to court since Im a juvenille. Has anyone ever gotten of one of these?

uh oh... i'm planning on getting my front windows tinted too.... i'm going to risk it and see what happens, going 35%

well in north dakota....the legal limit is 70%...yes 70!(for the front that is....there isn't a limit for the rear)
but on tuesday my sponsor is tinting my windows for me....35% mirror on the front....10% mirror on the rears

btw....why does it matter if you weren't speeding..the tint is ILLEGAL!

i know this is off the topic but....

My cousin got stoped at a 25 mph zone going 35, he thought he wasnt speeding. he asked the cop to see the radar, when he saw the radar it said 28 on it. He told the cop uuuhhhh it says 28 right on and 10 more cops came, they told him to get a lawyer... i bet that cop felt like a dumb-ass..

Next time any of you guys get pulled over ASK TO SEE THE RADAR, there are corrupt cops out there....

Jeez....70 is like looking through glass. That rough. BTW Im 17. I dont think that he should have stopped me entirely based on the tint. usually people get stopped for speeding and thats when the cops check the tint. Fuck

My sister was speeding 20 over (KMPH) and the cop also gave her a ticket for her tint... its tintes 35%, the legal limit here....
I'm going to go to court for that...
I'll let you know how it goes... how can you check the tint percentage?

whoa the same thing happend to me last week i was going 30 in 35 zone because i saw the cop around he tailed me for a minute then pulled me over and gave me a ticket for not having recon. im in hawaii and once you touch one thing on your car you need to get a veihcle reconstruction permit. i got busted for my exhaust, drop and clear corners that sucks man. no one ever gets pulled over just for that, only if your speeding then they bust you. and im only 17 too

Too check the percetnage of light that the tint was letting through he asked me to roll my window half way down and put this small plastic machine on it. A few seconds later the indicator on it said "32" and i was fucked.

dang, that sucks...you have to get a permit? why is that, anyway?

i have alot of tight friend that are cops. the only reason they pulls guys over for a tint is because they
1. thinking you have something to hide.
2. your a rookie cop and don't know how much paper work you have to do in the end of the day.
3. make there quote.
4. the most popular one. They just wanna be DICKS!

i got pulled over tonight cause this cop just wanna be a tough guy.

well......legally they CAN pull you over for just your tint.
but i agree...why?
here, people are ALWAYS street racing, and no one EVER gets caught...but the people with neon lights or exausts get pulled over for racing their own shadow :-?
