something fell off of the camry and i dont know where it goes, or what it is. here is a pic of it

btw is there anything under the hood, that, if wet, the car wont start??

Both things, by the look of it are possibly out of your brake fluid resivior, see if there is a filter in there. if not then it may be from your washer bottle. If your car's electrical seals are all ok, then a simple hose down will not stop the engine, i dont think the newer camrys have dizzys so I dont think there is much to worry about unless water gets in the plug tubes or it got blasted with high pressure water or something

Not that I can think of. I don't think there is going to be such a thing or because rain can easily go thru the hood and into the engine bay.

were u repairing something? toyo parts does not fall off just like that. it's not a ford pinto.

either u repaired something and accidentally knock it off, while driving u hit something, etc

honestly, i would look at one of the fluid containers.
usually, they have a strainer there and look and see if they r missing one of them.
there is the Power steering container, windsheild washing container, etc

i dont think the white thing is from your car, i have torn that engine apart many a time and never seen it, but the filter/mesh thing, goes inside your washer fluid reservoir.. pretty certain..
