DRLs

I already tried posting this topic in another forum but to no avail .. im wondering if you can diable the DRLs somehow without having to pay freaking $75 for toyota to disable it .. i tried removing fuses but it was pretty funny since i removed one and i lost the ability to blind people with my brights .. haha .. anyways the reason i ask is cuz i dont like them (yes they may be helpful) but they're fugly lookin .. i have a 2000 camry (gen 4.5) and yes they're not supposed to come with DRLs until 2001 but go figure my car is weird .. ALSO if i cant diable them can i replaec the bulbs with another pair or PIAA hyper whites to match my headlights and would that give me a DRL color of white? cuz that'd be cool too

Go to solaraguy.com and do search on this topic.

There is a grey plug that you can unplug to disable DRL.
I already did and I am happy with it. Now I am going to disable the automatic headlight sensor that turns on the headlight at night..

ya DRLs are daytime running lights .. model 2000s arent supposed to come with them or so im told .. but anyways for those of you that also want to disable your twilight sensor .. its pretty dang easy but if you lose the connector its a .. well lets just say its a pain to find it and put it back in .. after an hour of fumbling around i finally got it .. but with several cuts on my arm due to it  but does anyone know how to disable their DRLs for a camry because i couldnt find what they were talking about on solaraguy.com
