Talking Borla! Borla! Pics Are Here!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never been more excited, impressed, and proud of an exhaust system as I am right now!

I walked out on a limb by taking "Super Kaioken"s advice that the bolt on Borla system for the 2003 Camry v-6 will fit the 2005 Camry I4's and pretty much anything else within about a 6 year range.

It took me about 20 min. to completely remove the old one and install the new. All I had to buy were 2 bolts that were M10 1.25 and about 4 washers and a can of WD-40.

You can search the Camry forum and see that the sound I was trying to get was as close to a Nissan Z as far as the loudness and tone. I JUST DID!!!! In fact my dad, who has an 04 camry, loved it so much that he logged on to Borla.com and order him one as well last night. It does not sound like RICE at all. My dad, who is 62 years old, is one of those who believes in leaving things the way they are and always gave me a hard time when I purchased things for my car. He was very impressed.

I bought me a new camera and pics of the install will be up soon.

For $207+ tax you can have a new axle-back exhaust system that bolts on in about 20min. Who wouldnt want that. For any of you that have camrys and are looking to upgrade exhaust, in my opinion, go for the Borla!!!!!!

A proud owner of a Camry,

Matt

Pics will be up soon if I can figure out how to do it on Car Domain.

My camera takes little video clips and has a spot to plug in a microphone. I will see if I cant get a clip of the exhaust for yall. I know that when i was asking around on the forum all i wanted were some sound clips...i know how you feel. I'm working on it!!!!!!!!!!!

I will figure it out soon fellas!!!!!!

Hmmm... no kidding... it fit just fine, huh? Are the Gen 5.5 I4's any different at the axle-back than the Gen 5's?? 'Cause if they aren't... that might be $207+tax that I won't be able to resist in the near future... damn you and your exciting post...

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

i got the TRD exhaust (borla) on mine too.... it definately sounds nice but doesn't do anything for performance. Its to a catback system, just a muffler. But if you don't care about performance and just want sound, its not bad, I recommend it. But if you're looking for performance, go with the magnaflow.

I disagree,

Traditional Mod paths

start from the outside, gradually working their way in

Just click on BORLA below and look at the pictures in the "HOW TO INSTALL" link and you can see if the setups are the same....more than likely they are. Mine is an 05.
