PICTURES !! Newbie Needs Assistance

Hi all,
I've watched you guys for longer than I've been a member and enjoy the forum. Lots of useful info here. I need assistance with removing my driver's side door panel to fix my door handle/opening mechanism. I recently had a lockout and something got disconnected while trying to get in. I also need to remove my side window to replace the seal. Check out my Camry here:

I did a search but didn't find any information. Thanks.

It's kind of hard to describe it.. Go to the www.amazon.com and buy yourself a repair manual.. I have a Haynes manual, and it's pretty good..
Good luck.

Wow, thanks Jay. I looked in a manual but it wasn't informative enough. I guess what I want to know after removing all the screws is do I pull hard, push up pull hard or what. What does your manual say in 20 words or less if that is not too much to ask. Please. Someone.

There is a trick that you have to do with the door opening handle. You have to stick a screwdriver in there somewhere to pry it off. I don't know exactly how though (I have a gen2... its easier on my car). From there, it should be a simple pulling action to take the door off. Good luck.

i thougt recently i locked myself out. but when i examine the rear door i notice therees a black knob. the knob was kind of a child safety thing. There are two clips that hold the plastic mold on the door handle. on is on top. that should be very easy to get off. if you pull it out alil you'll see the plastic hooked on the lock of the door. use a screwdriver and push the plastic downward to release the hook.

Phi, thanks a bunch for your pictures. It took about 30 (careful) minutes for the entire task. Popped off the door handle trim in about a minute just as instructed.

Are there any owners of 94-96 coupes with air leaking in the rear side window. Unsuccessfully I tried to use a sealant but it only worked until I got up to 80 MPH and then came undone from then on. Its extremely loud. Any help is appreciated.

Did you see the guy in a high speed chase (forget the city) trying to make a left turn? He couldn't make at the speed traveling and went airborne--landed in a bank! (CNN American Stories)
