Reverse Indiglo gauges ..

For those of you who konw a bit about gauges .. especially reverse indiglo gauges im planning on getting myself a set but when i look at these two i cannot see the difference between them ..

http://procarparts.com/store/displaydetails.cfm?pid=ING-97CAMR-REVW

and

http://procarparts.com/store/displaydetails.cfm?pid=TOY-CMRY-9701-RIG-2

they both look exactly the same yet the first one is 25 dollars more then the second one .. hrm .. so im guessing i should go with the 2nd more cheaper one but would i be paying for it in the end with junky gauges .. lastly how do you install them bceause i was told to be very careful with the needles .. thanks

Well, hmm.. judging just from the pictures, one of them has large cutouts for the warning lights and gear indicators.. the other has clear plastic so the lights can shine through. Only difference I can see in a quick look.

Oh, dur.. one also has the "<- Fuel door" replaced by "UNLEADED FUEL ONLY" and the "x1000RPM" in a different spot. Looks like just 2 different models. One note about the one without the cutouts, lining it up perfectly might be a pain. I had some minor issueswith that on my Gen2 when I got similar guages.

well just to let you know, the first set, on the speedometer gauge, the cut out for the different warning lights is a little small so you will be partially covering the brake light indicator on the left.

the second set you need to line up to the stock gauges really well since the warning indicators need to be lined up perfectly for the light to shine through...

the installation is very simple, it took me about 30 minutes and i have no idea what im doing... the hardest part was taking the gauge cluster out and i did manage to break one of the tabs off...

i believe there was a post on how to install the gauges a while back...

im thinking about going back to stock or just replacing the bulbs with different colors... should i go with blue or would white look nice?
