recently purchased a few, storing the plug and not using them for many years will not cause any harm will it? .

They might loose some performance. Why would you want to store them for?

How are they going to loose performance if their not used?

If thats the case all spark plugs sitting on the shelves of autoparts stores are bad.

Oh man thats the funniest shit I've heard in awhile. Thanks for the good laugh.

No, they won't. All will be well when you pop 'em in. Just store 'em in a clean dry place with their boxes on (the boxes aren't necessary though).

Explain how they might loose some performance?

If you goto a autoparts store today and buy a set of spark plugs, you don't know how long they've been sitting on the shelf.

So unless you got some hard proof that unused spark plugs go bad from sitting on the shelf, be ready to get skooled again.
