Camry & Solara LoungeDiscussion area for every generation of Toyota's family car, the Toyota Camry. Lexus ES250/300 owners welcome! Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance and more.
Anyway, I hope somebody can pick her up soon and part her out or fix her as I am in kind of a bind - I moved into a new apartment and I literally have no room nor time to part out the car.
I'll still be around, lurking - maybe in a couple years when I move out of my current residence I will purchase another camry as a project vehicle.
I know I was not the most active member on the board, but I know many of you personally from meets down in LA and such. Hopefully I can still attend a few here and there and keep up with you guys.
I wish all of your future projects go well, and if you guys ever need my help with your camry, you can always still pm me and I would be glad to help.
Well that's a nice new car you got there! Congrats! Let me know if you're interested in JIC Magic Stuff

YEAH NO KIDDING AWD, 4 Wheel ABS but cuz you have about 140 hp more than the rest of us 2.2L drivers, you gotta pay crazy insurance (depending on your age).
PUT ALL STOCK lancer panels back on and make it a sleeper!

"It's an amazing machine..."

That's why I love Lancer Evoultions baby.. I love the EVO III and the EVO VI GSR TME like no other. They outhandle any other AWD machine on the road, period. It's only TRUE rival is itself...
the thing is, equip an STi with AYC and YAW comtrol, and it would be faster :P
the STi's speed is purely mechanical.
so just hope subaru dont get smart and give the road going STi some of the rally going's ecu smartness

The EVO (USDM) doesn't have an AYC system so it would be an advantage for anybody. In the end, the USDM Subaru's are 2.2L vs. 2.OL Evo. They have a shade more displacement on the low end and have a less lag because of it. Put the JDM EVO VIII Vs. STI for the same model year and the EVO will win, hands down. The USDM Subaru for model year '05 had more HP than the JDM '05 STI because the JDM version stayed true to it's WRC hertiage and abided by it's rules of 2.0L. REGARDLESS of that, the EVO still owns the 2.2L STI with it's same 2.0L that was slightly (a little, little, little bit) toned down for the USDM public.
What the EVO VIII couldn't beat the EVO IX will annihilate. MIVEC baby..
