so my FINALLY gettin around to painting my calipers.
my haynes maual says to plug the brake line with a the appropriate size rubber hose. anyone know what size hose that would be? i dont really feel like going out and buying random hose sizes.
the brake cleaner worked wonders because it dripped through around the rotors etc. and the paint just went down with it. but if the paint drys brake cleaner ain't gonna work. i can't take a picture for you yet of how mine look cuz my sister's camera fanaticism.

cover the are where you DON'T want to get spray paint, and it should take 30mins less on each caliper. do more than 3 coating for best result
yeah, but like i said, thats not what im trying to do. i dont wanna cover the area, id much rather take them off. if anyone knows another way plug that line, thatll work too
just degrease it, wash it let it dry get some paper and cover and spray .. unless ya gonna get it down to plishing smooth dont bother taking it off, hi temp paint is surprisingly sticky and covering.

When i painted my calipers, dupri color had this kick ass kit that had brake cleaner in it along with caliper paint and a paint brush to put it on, that way u don't have to wory about covering everything up. And it looked very good once it's done.

ok so i went to a couple auto parts store. then i saw a bunch of hoes at kregans, and after checking them out, i went inside and they had rolls of vacume hoses, i got a couple and it worked well enough that theres only one drop about every 10 minutes...so now im waiting for the paint to dry
