Any performance increase when switchin from an I4 Muffler to a V6 Muffler?

When I had my gen2 a few years ago I did this. Basically, you'll get a deeper exhaust note (very subtle, though) and slightly better throttle response. No more power, though, obviously you need stickers for that

I think only Gen 3 V6s had twin tips. I think all other year camrys use the same muffler, no matter what the engine. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure.

I am about to do this swap on my turbo'd '96 I4. Right now my exhaust is completely custom and the muffler creates a droning noise on the highway. Since my commute to work is so long, I need a quieter one. So I decided to go with something closer to a stock sound but flows good enough for the turbo and decided a v6 exhaust would work.

the only issue is that the pipes are slightly shorter with the v6. So I got some stainless steel 2 3/8" pipe to extend it a bit.

I was able to go to my local Toyota parts dept and we laid out the i4 and v6 middle pipes. That's when I was able to see how the v6 is slightly shorter.
