Question

Hey everyone, I'm looking to sell my Camry, and I'm wondering about opinions on how much you think I could sell it for...I'm thinking about putting it up for a rediculous amount like $8,000...or maybe more...Anyone think I'll be able to sell it?

Honestly, I think you are looking at $4k max.

There is a guy selling his 2000 XLE v6 camry w/ 63k miles with a slight problem and it is really a sick car. TRD supercharger, TRD kit, etc

asking price $6k.

I don't think you'll get anywhere near 8,000 for it. Use KBB.com for a rough estimate. Remember that sometimes mods you do actually DECREASE the car's value.

KBB says your car's private party value is about $3300 bucks, not including the wheels and other mods, assuming your cars in good condion.

Keep in mind most people that are interested in buying toyota camrys are not interested in performance. That's why those mods might actually decrease your value instead of increasing it. Your car as is, I'd try selling it by putting up flyers at any loca l colleges or (depending on your age) high school. Ask a reasonable amount, like maybe $3500 tops, and you may need to go down a bit from there to close the deal. Keep in mind your car is going on 12 years, so it's not going to catch top dollar.
