In the time it takes you to tell him to use the search function you could just answer his question. Sorry, I honestly don't know. I'm pretty sure it would increase hp to put a larger pipe in. Less back pressure on the exhaust or something.

Stupidity, ignorance, and bad grammer should not be rewarded with an answer.

Depends on engine mod..Sometimes bigger isnt better... Not to mention our cars are heavy. Too much big piping will reduce back pressure..Which also means less Tq...The more less Tq you have, the harder the car will demand to push it... Having intake wont fix it.. Gotta be boosted for bigger piping.. I say 2.25 is the max on non boosted car... Or at least our cars.. Hope that helps. Im not the smartest guy so dont rag on me..

And dont let people say your english sucks...Only babies complain... Just be proud of yourself.. Shoot Im not the smartest guy, but I could care less if anyone picks on me.. Doesnt make them any better then me..

let's help him out here then.....he asked nicely in a language that isn't his own

long story short, since you have an i4, the stock piping is 2"...if you want performance gains without losing backpressure, it's best to go with 2.25" piping all the way back if you stay NA

if you go boost, 2.5-3" is fair game
