I know this is a Toyota site. But, I am sure there must be someone here that have driven a 2003 or newer Honda Accord. The handling of the suspension is just *amazing* for family sedan. I mean, the car still rolls when taking corner, but the bounce effect at start up and stop is way better then my camry... or even 2001 solara.
Now, I have 97 Camry 2.2L (90000Miles) and am thinking about upgrading the suspension.
Please remember, I am not looking to make the car lower so drop spring is out of the question. My goal is to get this 8 years car handle as much like a new Accord as possible.
My first proposed setup is -- Keep the Stock Spring and only replace shock/strut with Tokico. If you have any other combo to help my archive my goal, please *do* share.
yeah but the accords gonna have big heavy ass 18" wheels and 50kg of stereo and 100kg of body extra on it
edit: no smoking, just dont drive an auto, although toyota make the best auto's anyway.

Front and rear sway bars.
Upper strut bar
Tokico Bule struts
new OEM springs <---- Old ones may have some sag in them.
This is the way I would go....but I would highly recommened getting some H&R or Tein springs to balance everything out. They only drop the car about an inch and you can't tell the difference. Thats my 2 cents
camry handle like an accord...that should be a bannable offense to say.....the accord wasn't a "great" handler by any means....but I agree with Yesca totally on this one
Honestly, I really don't find the purpose of this post.
Why do you want to even compete against Accords? Do you on a regular basis go against Accords?
My suggestion, rear sway bar, some OEM spec H&R Springs, and a strut tower bar. If you just would have searched for Gen 4 suspesion, you would have found a million posts about this topic already.
Or go buy a 03 accord.

A better question would've been "How to make a Camry handle?"
My solution was tokico struts, whiteline front/rear sway bars, ground control springs, trd strut bar and proper alignment. I'd like to get some true coilovers some day but other than that im happy with the way my car handles.
