Eibach Springs for 05 camry se?

I was browsing the eibach springs website, and the application guide only list up to 03. I know eibach makes the springs since trd has them for 05 camry's, I only see a listing for 04/05 camry V6 and then a listing for solara 04/05...any difference between V6 and I4 in suspension wise in the 2005 camry?

I know that there is a diff for gen4.5 camry Iv and v6.

v6 springs are more rigid as it has to hold up more weight, and the i4 springs are not that that rigid.

I would not put a v6 spring on a i4 and vice versa.

I you know for sure that eibach makes it for 2005 camry and you are able to trace it back to the model #, then go ahead and buy it directly from eibach.

I know that gen 4.5 and gen 5 camry have the same spring setup. They changed it for gen 5.5.

I put the TRD Solara springs on my '05 SE and it dropped a lot. The tops of my tires are under the fender lip now and the spring coils rub against each other and make popping noises when turning the wheels while stationary. Might work better in a I4 since mine is a V6 and a lot heavier.

I know that the trd springs are basically eibachs rebadged, so I am assuming that eibach should make them since trd has them listed for the 2005 camry se. Solara springs fits also for the camry..So 2005 solara eibachs for I-4 should fit on a camry I-4?

I called Eibach today to get some carification about the Eibach Springs for Gen 5 camry's. The Eibach Prokit would drop the Gen 5. 1.6" in the the front and 1.6" in the Rear. And the part number is 8273.140 which is actually the same springs for the 04-05 solara also. The eibach rep said that the 8273.140 Prokit fits the Gen 5 camry's and Solara regardless of being a I-4 or V-6.
I also work for Sears Auto Center, and now Sears Auto Center is Partnering up with Eibach. Which in my opinion has been long overdued. Now you can get the Eibach Springs through Sears Auto Center with installation and Alignment after the installation also since Sears Auto Center is now a certified Eibach Vendor and Installer. All warranties are covered with the Alignment and the Eibach Springs. Which is not too bad of a deal. I would follow up and see how much would the cost be for springs and installation, alignment through Sears Auto Center if anyone is interested. I'll going to get the Prokit for my camry and see how it works out.

Camdaddy,

Any further info on the springs and if they fit on the 05 SE? What about install price? I'm looking for new springs for my 05 se as well.

well the price for the installation is $246 for labor, additional $64.99 for alignment. And the Price for the springs varies I think from state to state. I called Eibach today and tried to order the springs, but they are on back order till end of October. Call your local Sears Auto Center and ask for a quote.

I remember reading somewhere on this forum of one of the members getting the Solara springs instead of the Camry springs and he had problems with rubbing and some noises. He took it back to the dealership and they ordered another set of springs that were specifically for the Camry and it worked out a lot better.

What happened was he ordered the wrong year, since 04 and 05 camries changed spring seats the and springs they seat different. The 05 camries have a tapered spring on the bottom and the earlier 04 don't. But the 05 solara and camry springs from eibach are used on both cars.

Lol yeah, I ordered the '03 springs just after I bought my '05 SE thinking they'd fit. WRONG! Ordered the '04~'05 Solara/Camry springs when they came out.
