I was just looking to get a new set of OEM foglights and rings for my 97 Camry. apparently the rings on both sides have fallen off sometimes in my 120,000 miles. Recently one side of my foglight has been replaced and apparently my mechanic replaced one with a higher wattage and thus melted the housing and causing it to split into 2 pieces. So i am looking for a new set of foglights with the rings. Anybody know where i can get them?
Another question regarding to this is that the other day I was reading around TN and found that the Camry's with OEM foglights are suppose to be special edition? any truth to that? After all, i do rarely see any other gen 4's with them.
Hrm...I really don't think they were special edition Camry that had them. In Northern California, a lot of them had the OEM fog lights. So much so that the ones without them looked weird to me at one point. It seemed like most people ran them for looks more than utility since I seen them on all the time.
Down south, Camry which came with Fog lights were in the special edition model category. And those are rare. I know X RANGER has one 99 camry and he is from austin, tx. His ring around the fog lights also fell off.
There are not many places which sells toyota for lights which is built into the bumper. You can try the Toyota dealerships (be prepared to pay $200+). Some guy was selling a new pair on eBay a month or 2 ago but those are rare to come by.
You can try to retrofit some of the oval fog lights that you find on eBay. Look for HELLA OPTILUX

That sucks in the south.
You might have 1 in 2000 cars having it in the south.
I saw a guy cut the bumper and insstalled the OEM toyota lights for his gen 4.
Well, if u r in CA, then you are in luck as u should be able to locate a replacement easily...
the piece is called bezel, look for camry bezel's, they were last 45 dollars each (unpainted).
A while back i bought a pair of fog's and an aftermarker bumper (which we cut) and clamped the OEM fogs, when i go to fit the bumper the fog back side hits the a/c tank thingie, can those whith OEM fogs please post pics (close up) of your passanger side fog only! thanks!

I'm not saying they were free or anything, it adds on to the sticker price. I don't remember the price exactly, but it wasn't cheap.

I don't even use mine because there's no need for them, not at least where I'm living right now. But they didn't do much in the fog anyhow. Aside from that, the bulbs are a pain the butt to get to. It involves removing the light from the bumper to change the bulb.
