did you test the line by hooking your stock light back up? if that lights then it's your cathode unit. Also the one you bought was there a switch that came with it, did you play with that to see if it would work? Did you conect the united/cathodes/ switch in the correct order?

either that or you are locked inside your trunk wondering why the light isn't on.

hook it up to your computer...what it was intended for. It should just plug straight in with the molex connector to the power supply...if it works there, then obviously you've got something backwards

You sure you wired it up right? If you mixed the ground and power wires, you could've blown the inverter. I went to brungold's place so he could help me with this mod. It took us 30 minutes of trying to figure out which was which... and then we finally did. So, yeah... oh and I guess you just got a faulty shipment, because I ordered from case-mods and mine came perfect.

Well, one of the stock wires, if you look closely, is red with a white stripe, and the other one is solid red. I BELIEVE that the red with the stripe is the power wire, but I'm not sure. On my Gen 5, my wires were red and green, with green being the ground. Its possible that you blew that inverter, but I'm not sure. brungold or SnakeEyes would probably know more about that...

If you tried wiring it both ways, your inverter is dead. Should've done it right the first time and used a test light to figure out which wire was positive from your car or look up wire color codes online. They have charts everywhere. Just buy another kit and keep the bulbs you have now as spare. 2 or 3 of the kits i ordered from case mod came with broken bulbs so i asked them to just send me spare bulbs to replace, and they did. i didn't even have to send proof. i had no problems with them.

if you have a multimeter you should use that to check which one is hot (you sure you connected your battery back right?).
post up a pic of how your wiring is now after your cutting and i can see if you are connecting anything wrong. either way, hopefully you should be getting a new kit soon!
