will the hood from the 97 camry fit my 96 es300 a little better since the headlights are similar. just a quick question cause my hood got messed up and i would rather buy a carbon fiber hood than a stock hood.

any help will be appreciated

to make it plain and simple...

okay for a better explanation here would be why:

a. they are different generations
b. they are different cars
c. they are different (see a pattern forming?)

okay to be serious, try a 96 camry hood they are the same generation as your es300 so you would have a better chance, OR get your factory hood covered in carbon fiber...

ok well u probably think im stupid now but some one else told me that the hood off a gen 4 might possible fit. but i guess he doesnt know wat he was talkin about. thanks for the info though

Nope, I don't think there's any way it will fit. Trdkamuri510 your suggestion is actually more ridiculous than his question.

actually no its not if i remember right someone from sc3 (which is before your time my son) had a c/f hood... modding is possible and it fits a hell of a lot closer than a gen4 hood would since the gen4 was wider overall... and longer overall

see the similarities??? make a different grill and your about as close asyour gonna get...

or better yet, contact yukio or one of the other gen3 pionners, not a guy with a virtually stock car.
