#$%@ rain. And rubbed tires

Alright, well now let it be known, Intrax I4 springs on a Gen 2 V6 really don't work out too well. I've apparently rubbed mine enough in the few thousand miles I put on them to make it understeer so much I just skidded off the fucking road at 35 miles an hour on a turn that I've taken twice a day every day for about 2 years. I ran over 3 thin metal fence posts and fuecked up the paint on the side from the wire fencing.

The car is drivable, but the alignment is totally off, or a control arm or tie rod is bent up pretty badly. I jacked it up but didn't have my tools handy so I dodn't pop the wheel off to get a better look. Thankfully my tools arrived to fix my other car tonight, so now at least I'll have something to drive. My body wasn't in good shape, but now it's just more shit to do. The plastic trim pieces on the windshield and around the windwos are all chipped and that pisses me off, at least those can't rust :-/

I think I really want to get rid of this car, too much fucking work.

Took it in for an alignment today, not sure what will come of it. I think that the passengers side control arm is bent, but that's no big deal as I have an extra set. If that's the only thing besides the body damage then I came out all right, I think.

Would any one be interested in buying a set of struts with Tokico inserts, Intrax springs, and almost all new rubber? I would sell as whole pieces probably to make things easier on me and you alike. Just bolt on and it's done

Well, let think. They have less than 5000 miles on them, so they're almost new. The springs cost ~$200 new, the struts $240 (4x60), and the new rubber almost $200. The struts themselves are probably worth $20 each at a junkyard, and considering my labor is worth nothing, I would take $500 for the full set no questions.
