Did you drive the car after you unplug the sensor?

Your car migth run like crap because it can not tell what is the air/fuel mixture is. and the ligth will come on. Why would you disconnect them for? did you replace the exhaust?

It takes a number of miles for the check engine light to come on without the O2 sensors plugged in on the gen2. Especially the second sensor. I've driven about 200 miles now since my last ECU reset on my turbo camry (with no cats and no second O2 sensor) with no check engine lights.

i disconnected them because i was trying to diagnose my problem of why i would have to floor my car in order to accelerate pass 60...ive driven a couple of gen 2 and i didint have to floor it, i didnt even press the gas pedal pass half way and it still creeped up pass 70...anyways back to the o2 sensors, i actually did drive my car around for about a few days with both of the o2 sensor unplugged. Never noticed a difference and no chekc engine light so far...my freind told me to take out the fuse and disconnect the battery to reset the ecu so the engine light can come on...but that didnt work either...
