Is a 99 v6 camry faster than a 99 nissian maxima

I ask this question because my boy has one and wheneva we race i win, he has an intake and an exhaust i only have a cai. When im in his car mine feel alot more responsive, at first i thought it was only his until we went to the dealer and test drove another one (because he crashed his) and it was the same feeling and repinse so if anyone knows the fact about this please let me know.

Is his maxima tuned up? The camry could probably win because it has tall gears, but i think that the max does to. Does he have a heavy sound system? he might have too much weight.

i have the 98 V6 STOCK Camry and it has 108kw @ the wheels. i think thats around 140whp.
