on your manual conversion did you have to cut and weld your pedals or linkage or anything? or was it all just basically bolt in affair? i would really like to know some more detailed info on the process. so i know hwo to call up and what i need when i do it.
There is no welding required. What you need is a complete donor car, or be prepared to pay up the a$$ from the dealership.
The shift linkages are actually two cables that goes through the firewall whereas your auto has only one cable.
In any case, the MT cables go through the same hole. The only difference is the grommets and metal brackets that hold them in place.
The is one rubber grommet and one metal bracket on each side of the firewall. Obviously, the MT ones are different because it allows two cables to go thorugh. Finding these parts are important as they ensure proper fit and seals up the cabin from noise, insects, water, etc.
Hope that helps.

Everything is SUPER when you're...
On the cabin side of the firewall where the clutch pedal would be, you will see small cirlces. You simple drill those out to mount the clutch pedal bracket, which is attached to the clutch master cylinder on the engine bay side of the firewall. The clutch peal is then attached to the bracket.
