There is no welding required. What you need is a complete donor car, or be prepared to pay up the a$$ from the dealership.

The shift linkages are actually two cables that goes through the firewall whereas your auto has only one cable.

In any case, the MT cables go through the same hole. The only difference is the grommets and metal brackets that hold them in place.

The is one rubber grommet and one metal bracket on each side of the firewall. Obviously, the MT ones are different because it allows two cables to go thorugh. Finding these parts are important as they ensure proper fit and seals up the cabin from noise, insects, water, etc.

Hope that helps.

As for the pedals, also no welding.

On the cabin side of the firewall where the clutch pedal would be, you will see small cirlces. You simple drill those out to mount the clutch pedal bracket, which is attached to the clutch master cylinder on the engine bay side of the firewall. The clutch peal is then attached to the bracket.

Hey man how is it going? I see by your side markers/turn signals that the heat from the cops in Richmond got the best of ya hu? I was thinking of doing the same thing... but instead I decided not to care and got my front windows tinted (I just stay away from Richmond as if it was the plague)

Alex: It is not cake. Like every mod, it takes tons of research. Just getting the proper parts from the dealer is a chore.

Humpty: Which new project?? It's all good, bro.

TRDCAMRY: i got no choice man... i live in richmond!! and i already got VI for my muffler and steering wheel i got away from it cos my buddy hooked me up ... and i silenced my muffler from the last time we met its nicer and quieter now also a better deeper tone swapped out the resonator with a nicer dual chamber stainless steel one... less hp but regained torque so its all good
