Cloth Speaker Cover Problems

I just bought a 1997 Avalon and I've noticed that during heavy bass, the fabric covers on the rear speakers vibrate causing an anoying rattling sound. When i put press my hand against the speaker the rattling stops.
You guys have any suggestions on how to fix problem or have similar problem?

Its a pretty noob question, I know.

Carefully figure out what part of the grill is actually vibrating. Is it the actual part with the cloth covering over the driver? Is it one of the mounting points? Once you figure out what is making the noise, you can stop it... Some rattles are harder to stop than others, just try stuff. 8)

Yeah, something is probably a little loose. If its two things vibrating against each other you can put somthing in between them to stop the vibration...

try switching the cloth to something lighter....

I dunno, but the cloth on my speakers (camry) had gotten dirty, and I didn't like the grey color, so I ripped them all off and put black polyester over the plastic covers instead...really thin stuff that doesn't affect the sound, but thick enough to not be able to see thru....

try something like that....cuz the cloth that comes on top of the speakers is pretty heavy, allowing it to make sound....I think lighter cloth shouldn't make sound...if that's really the case....

good luck!
