2nd Generation HID Conversion

I was just wondering if anyone out there has ever tried to make a set of HID headlights for their Gen 2 Camry, or if there is anyone out there that would be willing to try and make a set.

Now I do know I'm a crazy Aussie S.O.B but I was at the wreckers a few weeks back & saw some (?) Nissan Sylvia headlights, the lenses were "fish eyed" small n' round. Thought they would really alter the front of my 91 SV21. And I did check with a wreck & with "few" mods they'D slot right in. Yeah I "know" I'm CRAZY

I dont know if a HID conversion has ever been done, but it would definitely set you back several hundred dollars. Since most of us Gen2 owners are broke-asses, we invest in other, cheaper mods, and if we did have that kind of money, we sure as hell wouldnt be driving a 2nd gen camry

yeah they do it for you provided you buy the projector, bulb,blattast.. and you just send them your headlights if you can go w/o them for a week or so and they mail it back to you with it retrofitted and a wiring harness and u just have to install it and zip ties some ballasts but they charge 300$ a pair

0_o Excuse me But i have a Gen2 and a Gen5 Camry's. And the Gen2 is my littile work in progress. Im re-doing the interrior right now and im getting a kit for it. not all of us are broke asses. But hey Thats just me. Im having a hard time finding good parts for Gen2 camry's, so yes i do kinda invest in cheaper "universal" mods

300 bucks... damn... that doesnt even include the HID OEM kit... very expensive... some people are really against doing an HID kit with the proper retrofit due to the blinding of on coming traffic... i only agree if you have a kit above 6000K.... most OEM kits are 4300K to 4700K... the higher the you go the less bright it is but more blue to purple it goes

i might have to contact HID Planet and talk to them to get some ideas. it might just happen.
