old springs

hey guys, would age hinder the performance of old springs? i'm looking at buying some eibach springs from a fellow toyota nationer. he says they're 2 years old. is that a problem?

not at all if they've been in a box, and not hardly at all if they've been on a car. The weight is what causes them to sag, and only slightly after just 2 years. I believe Eibach are hardened springs, so they should last a long time.

125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.
