Gen5 When to change plugs

I have looked thru my maint. manual and I can only find at 120,000 miles that I should change my spark plugs. Other models are noted to be done b4 this, but not the Camry that I could see. Is this correct or when do you all change yours? I am running up to 60,000 miles and while everything seems to be ok according to the gas mileage, I seem to be picking up a slight little quiver when I slow to a stop and idle.........I just wondered if it was time for plugs or anything else at this point in mileage...........thanks for any suggestions

Go ahead and change them, doesn't cost enough to keep you from doing it more often. I change mine every 30K or annually, whichever comes first. I have a 200 though but spark plugs should be part of an annual tune up, along with a new air filter.

i think you should change your plugs every 20,000km (but i might be wrong). Buy a genuine plugs or some good brand plugs, coz if you dont u gonna wreck the car, as i have learnt.

I changed them when I bought the car (it was used, so..) but I plan on doing it in conjunction with my timing belt change of 113 mi (last timing belt change was done before 60K on the odo). I went ahead and grabbed some Denso iridiums (IK20) I forgot what I paid but it was a great price... I think 30 or early 40s with shipping

As far as that quiver you get right before you slow down to a complete stop. It could be brakes, tires, suspension. I wouldn't associate something like that to plugs but then I'm no expert. It's not horrendously bad though, is it? Brake fluid change time?

I may end up at the dealership yet.....the quiver is positively a motor/tranny thing not a brake issue. I guess plugs were the easy way to look.....I drive alot of highway miles so are the stock ones ok to use as a replacement??

On sparkplugs.com, they list two different plugs for the 2AZ-FE from NGK. One is the "IX iridium" and the other one is just "Iridium plug." Anyone know the difference? The" Iridium plug" is also $2 more than the other one.
