i really want to get new springs but i want more than a 1 inch drop. i want the stiffest possible but would also like a drop of like 1.6 inches. are dropzones stiff? would b+g be jst as stiff or would h+r be better

find an industrail spring factory in ya area to make some up for ya. they shouldnt cost anmore then $100 for a set of 4 over the price of Eibachs or Tiens but you will get your own preferred height/rate.
if you need something a little more flexible then custom rate/height, then its time for some ksport adustable coilovers @ less then 1k. which if you buy a decent set of struts too, youll realise that maybe you should just save for coil overs

125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.
Coilovers will probably be your best bet. Get a stiff spring rate setting and set your dampers to the hardest setting.
Ksport and D2 have them for our cars. I have yet to install my D2's.
