when its that bad, you really have no choice but to bring it to a shop that will put a torch to it for you

if i were you, and don't care about the rusted nuts on flange, i would take drill, and drill thru the nuts, begins with smaller drill bit first, increase bit increase to a point the whole nuts will be destroy and you can loose the rusted exhaust bolt.

Try liquid wrench pentrating spray. Also find a 3 or 4 ft pipe that will fit over your wrench as an extension. This is multipy your applied torque by 10 fold!

cut the nuts off and drill out the bolts. its a lot of work, especially when you are dealing woth the 3VZ. i know, im going through the same thing. imagine the frustration when you snap the vent tube line off of the gas tank when you're replacing the fuel filler tube. oh yes, brother, i feel your pain.

just torque them off... then whatever is left inside, use vice grip pliars on...

PB blaster is better than liquid wrench.

I think I will break the nut using the nut splitter and then hammer the bolts out may be with the help of a propane torch.

You should, if you can, apply heat to it before trying to remove it. It'll loosen everything up a bit, then apply some penetrant and try to turn them out. If that fails, i suppose the drill technique is the last resort. Remember, cold metal doesn't like to be moved!

I'd also try heating it with a propane torch and spraying it with cold water. It's been my experience that the resulting expansion/contraction can crack the rust and make it possible to get them off.

guys stop messing around... and buy a nut splitter.

Then take the bolt to a nut & bolt house & replace it. replace all of them, using anti-sieze when you put it back together
