how can you tell if your car was equipped with either a factory alarm or keyless entry? my car is a 92 XLE V6. please excuse the noobness, i just want to learn more. thanks!

If you lock the doors (but leave one front window open) for about 20 seconds, then open the front door through the open window, the alarm should sound if so equipped.
Not sure how to verify for the keyless entry, guess the dealer may have your car in their data base.

i dont think mine does. i have a sheet i'll post up tonight that they printed me up. it kinda looks like a mock window sticker.

it might have but it could have been disabled...

perhaps. i just didnt know if there was any way to find out which models were available with those options and which years they were offered.
