Timing belt location

98 5sfe. Where is the timing belt located? I searched and noticed that it should say when the belt was changed last.

Just look for a huge belt.

DIY Change Timing Belt.

Unfortunetely there isn't any pics, and if you don't know where everything is, I guess the DIY isn't very helpful.

Im still gonna try to get you a pic to give you a better idea of where it is.

Now I understand this is a Gen 3, but it was the only pic I could find in a quick Google image search.

What I squared is the belt. Look for something that looks like that.

Hope that helps a lil.

Timing belt is on the left side of the motor behind a cover (timing belt cover).

If the timing has been changed at a Toyota dealership they usually put a sticker on top of the cover. The sticker says when the belt was last changed.
