Cleaning Manifold

I want to sand back, paint and heat wrap my exhaust manofold. Am i right to sand it? what is the best method of resoration?

yes, ur able to sand it. i would use a hand though cos with a machine, u might sand down some parts more than the other, unless ur a pro.

sanding, then cleaning the part of debri should work. I would put a coat of high temp spray on it to prevent rust, etc from building up
