My 1994 V6 decided that it likes to burn oil. I know that is bad and it needs to stop ASAP, but how exactly would I go about getting it to stop If someone could please help me it would be much appreciated.

wait, you're saying it did it before the switch? arrgh..lol

you should have got that check...bad gasket?

mixing dino and syn shouldn't be a big problem

the thing about syn is that in older engines where the seals may be more worn, it can leak through....it didnt' cause the leak.

here's more homework for you:

bobistheoilguy.com

carbible.com

and search TN for the topic, there was a lot of discussion on this subject.

and by the way, i'm on Mobile 1 full syn the 15 k one. 109k so far from 107 at switch to full syn...no problems as of yet (knock on wood)

Magic 8 Ball says:

Yes.

At least for a temp. fix. You have to find where it's leaking/burning and fix that as well. Older cars leak/burn for a number of different reasons. More or less same example with flushing old trannys. If it ain't completely broke, don't fix it.
