Painting the rear center panel (*no 56k*)

Covering the reverse lights:

After sanding:

After primer:

After first hand:

After second hand (had to take it inside because it started raining):

After it stops raining and the sun comes out I will give it a clear coat and I'll post pictures when I get it back on the car.

I can't remember the brand, I will go outside in a few minutes and take a look at it.

It took my one can (it's small) to do both hands. I know it will match up because I had already used that paint to paint my exterior door handles

looks good...

and you're lucky that your paint matches....the only way to correctly match a metallic paint (especially platinum) is by having it mixed by a shop

Thanks.

I mean, it doesn't look EXACTLY the same because obviously my paint is a little faded because the paint job has 12 years, but you can't really tell the difference.

looks good man, one of the easiest things you can do for pretty cheap to really make the gen 3 stand out, looks so much cleaner imo

Mines not a perfect match either but no one even notices it didnt come that way.

Hahaha. I just got back from the bowling alley.

I went outside, and was looking for my car where I had parked it, and got so scared because I couldn't see my car and it was that I just didn't recognize it. I felt so stupid, but it looks pretty good.
