i was just wondering what the thing that connects to the battery is called.. mine is all rusted out and has very bad connection, to the degree that sometimes i have to wiggle it to start the car...its the soft piece of metal that is held on the the pos and neg part of the batterie by clamping the ends with a bolt.
ive tried bakingsoda and water, but that hasnt seemed to have helped it..
JetspeedCamry, o, thats what its called. im pretty sure you named the thing i was talking about..how much do they cost?
All depends on the style/quality etc.
Cheap alloy ones can cost $3 for a set. Gold plated brass ones with inbuild LED Voltage Dsplay can cost up to $30...up to you really.

Will gold plated ones corrode?
Btw, Gold is the conducts very well. So it may be a good thing to just buy a gold plated one. But I don't know if the extra conduction really helps, but If it won't corrode and all that junk I think it's worth it.
I just had to change them on my mom's '96. They were around $18 for the positive and $12 for the negative from Toyota. They were so loose the car wouldn't start and they were tightened up all the way.
