PLEASE HELP! Lost keyless entry remote, can't start car.

Through a sequence of bad luck, I have lost both my keyless entry remotes and am now totally bewildered. If I open my car with the normal key (it is a master key, btw), the alarm starts wailing and I cannot start the car. I need to be able to use my car ASAP. Does anyone know how to disarm it or anything at all? It's a 1998 Toyota Camry, I don't know what kind of alarm system but I'm pretty sure it came with the car. Any help apprieciated!

call the dealer. here, i'll give you the local number here. they should be able to help you. its a toll free number: 1-800-737-8117. you can ask for the parts department, there's a guy there named Steve Sunyak. he's a great guy. ask for him and tell him dave jones told you to call. or you can try the service department. i dont know anyone three though. good luck.

Easiest way is to get in the car, insert the key and turn on-acc-on if the aloarm is sounding this should turn it off.

If it is an aftermarket alarm, then there should be a small (possibly silver or black) toggle switch or button (depending on the alarm) mounted at the top of the drivers side kick panel. Unlock the door and turn your ignition to ON, and then flip the switch or press and hold the button that should put it into Valet mode and then you will be able to start your car. this is only for AFTERMARKET. If by flipping the switch nothing happened, then leave it where it is and repeat process. (it might have gotten hit or moved while the car was off) Hope this helps ya.

glad that somebody still remember that post

i think the best best besides reading that is to go get a remote (if you need it now, ur looking at $40-60). Ebay is like $15 shipped.

The get it programmed w/ these instructions
