2nd Generation motor mounts

does anyone know if the camry motor mounts were the same for the gen 2 - gen 4??? i have a 1990 camry and wanna put a 3sgte motor in it cause i need more power. i can't find anything saying if the 3sgte motor can/would bolt up to the camry motor mounts, so i don't know if anyone did it yet.

The mounts on Camrys are different between the generations. Their also different between the motors (3S-FE, 2VZ-FE, 3VZ-FE, 5S-FE, 1MZ-FE, etc..).

You can use the mounts on your Camry or ones from a Celica All Trac / GT4.

3S-FE and 3S-GTE use the same basic block (3rd gen S block).


And you do have a I4 (3S-FE)?

125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.
