Unhappy Help!! Removing stuck spark plug in Camry 2.2

I have a dillema.

I am not able to remove a spark plug in my car (spark plug closest to the battery).

I was planning to spend 15 min max and after 1.5 hours and no luck, I am not able to change one of the spark plug out. I used the spark plug remover (that t-shape tool I bought a long time ago from Autozone) and after pulling, pushing and hammering that tool with a rubber maller, i got nowhere. I even sat on the radiator beam and kicked that sucker (tool). NO LUCK!!!

I did install the other 3 plugs and yes, i did use anti seize grease.

Any help / ideas is greatly appreciated as I plan to attack it again later.
What does a repair shop uses in this case?

Car: 2000 Camry 2.2
Location of spark plug: Spark plug # 4 (spark plug closest to the battery)

THANKS!!!

wd40 and a real spark plug socket and ratchet that you can actually get leverage with.

why are you hammering anything? All you need is a spark plug socket, ratchet and extension and twist the plug out.

There isnt really any tricks to it. Spray some wd40 in there cross your fingers and crank on it. This became more of a problem since companies started going to the 100K mile tune up. Be glad you dont have a cadillac, the threads in the head tend to come right out with the sparkplug.

No matter what you do, DONOT break the spark plug. Its Just going to be more money trying to fix it. Do the wd 40 thing what these guys are saying. Spray some in the port hole to lubricate up the plug.

get a socket and a ratchet, spray a little wd40 and it should come right out. the ratchet will give you leverage and sometime they're a little hard to twist on a smaller size ratchet but with a good sized ratchet you shouldn't have a prob. The only instance I could see of you having a prob is if you stripped it. If it's stripped you need to take it to a shop and could cost a little money.
I had a spark plug shoot through my hood on my 99 because the idiot mechanic at the car dealership that I bought it from did not tighten any of my spark plugs. So now i have a huge dent on my hood. Bad times. :-(

Let the WD40 do it's work, but sometimes you can break loose stuck threads by trying to tighten it first, when it won't break the normal way.

oh well, that sucks man.
Got the autozone ratchet for $30.

I broke one of the spark plug/ignition holders that fits on the engine block when i was hammering the small T-spark plug remover earlier today. Piss the shit out of me.

Good news is that I got that spark plug out
Just a simple turn and it's off. As opposed to pushing-pulling, kicking that small tool earlier today.

I am set for another 60k and i should not have any prob removing it as i have anti seize grease on the plugs

THANKS EVERYBODY.

And also, check the manual for the appropriate torque and use a torque wrench to put your new plugs in. It's easy to over torque the aluminum with a large socket wrench.
