USA Charcoal Canister 99 toyota camry

I have a 99 Toyota Camry. I was replacing the charcoal cansister but it doesnt seem like I can get the defective canister out from under the rear suspension assembly without taking off the muffler. I was wondering if anyone has any tricks because it looks like the muffler wont come off willingly. Rust sucks.

you may have to cut the nuts off and drill out the bolts as a last option. they like to rust up pretty good.

just pry the muffler mounts off the rubber insulators and let it hang.

Thanks for the advice on just taking it off the rubber hangers. i would not have been able to get the canister out otherwise.
