Please help!!

Hi
I have 2002 Solara with tires 215/55/16.
When I drive with 1~2 people on the back the tire rubs when I
go over bumpy and uneven road.
Is that because I have incorrect size of tire or it could be of suspension
problem? It only happens on the rear right side.

Thanks.

Solaras should come with 205/60/16s, but 215/55/16s are the same overall diameter. I don't see a 10mm increase in tire width causing any fender rubbing on a stock vehicle.
Have you checked your tire for any scuff marks to find out if that's the area of concern? I do know that my 99 Camry's rear suspension is unbelievably soft, but i don't get rubbing with a full load behind. A test drive with a technician might be in order.

My 97 Camry's suspension just plain sucks. the back end of my car is lower than it used to be but dealer says nothing is wrong. I thought i had the same prob you do but it turns out it was my imagination.
Dealer said that Camry's suspensions aren't the greatest and if i wanted a firmer ride i would have to go aftermarket. But i need money for that :x

Oh yes, might want to check the tire pressures while you're at it. I firmed up the rear by pumping it up to 36psi, just handle extra loads when i need it. Works fine for comfort in my opinion. I've got the front pumped up to 34psi.
