3.5 camry was the one with aminor facelift. longer headlights, different bumper lights, and different tail-lights. otherwise, it was the same car.

-the headlights are difference, because the grill is cut differently - look @ the edges, one flares in the other flares out
- the front bumper sidemarkers on the gen 3.5 don't swing around the front end, they are just in front
- the rear panel inbetween the tail lights is different... the gen3 has the red rectangular centerpiece, the gen3.5 has the added inner tails and the centerpiece is cut to fit those extra tails in on the sides...

to each his own....RedPhoneix converted his headlights to gen 3 but kept the 3.5 bumper and tail.
