Glad you guys enjoyed the video... Thanks for the props
Hey ModifierLE, the stock auto trans is only good for about 220WHP reliably. Anything higher, you would need to upgrade the transmission and the converter. On a mild supercharged setup, I wouldn't worry about an upgrade with the exception of synthetic ATF fluids and tranny cooler. But on a turbocharged setup, power comes more abruptly and power will easily exceed the limit. Check out the link under my sig for the shop that built my transmission
Hey DarkMastyr , that's just the BOV fluttering. It happens when I slowly ease off the throttle, and did it sound good on the video
Hey vsixcamry, the auto trans was shifted manually. The dash indicator lets you know what gear I just shifted into

That was how I was able to shift the gears early (before it reached redline) and have full control of the gears. I am not sure if you read some of my older threads regarding this modification, but basically I made up a circuit so that my shifter position signal will trigger the transmission soleniods directly (skips the stock ECU). I do have a flip switch which I can put back into regular auto mode for daily driving.
My 0-60 mph time indeed was not bad at all for a quick street launch on a pretty big turbo. I know if I let the boost build a bit before I launched, it would probably shave off another second. I will save that for the next video shoot
My Camry now revs to a 7000RPM redline, so the end of my 1st gear would already land me at about 54 mph

On the above video, I shifted way too early and it actually bogged and I lost boost. I will be filming another video soon; if I were to do the same 0-205kmh pull with a 7000RPM redline, I actually won't have to shift into 4th gear at all this time. Talking about lazy long gears.
Oh, the GTR is not mine.. I still have possession of it though because my friend lives about 2 hours away from the city and I am helping him out in meeting up with buyers for the car. Currently the car is going for $20k CAD - R32 skyline GTR
