Valve Clearance Specs

Does anybody know what the valve clearance specs are for the Intake and Exhaust valve
of a 1993 Camry (or Lexus ES300)? This would seem like an easy thing to find on the 'Net...but nothing so far!

Use the manual at the top of this forum for the genearation 3. It's for a 94 but should be exactly the same.

Actually it may be a little bit different because the 93 has the 3vz where the 94 has the 1mz. Also you know that the valves are not really adjsutable in these engines. Well I say not really adjustable. It is not easily done by the weekend mechanic. They use shims in a valve bucket and to get the correct clearance you ahve to replace the shims and there are so many different ones. We had a box with probably 200-300 shims in it and that is what we used to adjsut the valve clearance the 2 or 3 times we did it in the 3.5 years I worked for the Toyota dealer.
