Turbo on ebay.

I found this turbo kit on ebay today.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyot...spagenameZWDVW
Most of the parts show in the list look like the list that ufo provided. The injectors are different, the intercooler mouting is different. What's your opinion about this kit? Is the kit look alright to buy?

i can help you with it, yes. The most important factor is your AF ratios. . We'll work this out if you get the kit..

problems with those parts...

- believe the 3s oil pan is not a direct swap
- the 3s downpipe is def. not going to fit - you need a custom one
- that intercooler will not fit under your hood, unless you cut it...

you then need a way to adjust your timing and fuel, this is important, also you will want a bigger fuel pump, and a FPR...

also if you want to run 5psi on a ct-26, u are going to have to move the WGA such that the internal gate will be set to ~ 5psi, as it is usually at 7 or 8, i forget

these are just some things off the top of my head, other things will have to be added to the kit and changed for your car, good luck with any purchases

it's disappointing that you've been scared off by a couple minor complications.
it makes me sad that (most) people won't do 'big work' on a 5S-FE because they actually have to apply themselves.

yeah i wasn't saying that those are bad parts - just some of them wont' work on a camry application - so you would be better off just getting those pieces individually and saving money...

the ct-26 is nice though as it is brand new, but i was just letting you know that there is no way to buy a "kit" as you can for a honda right now - so custom fabrication is just a must on the 5sfe at this point in time

That's what I meant, I don't want to buy a whole kit, and then have to buy other pieces because some of them can't be use. Trust me, I won't mind to use time and money to work on my car.

those are very minor concerns, you cant boost at 7psi without problems. . the kit is definetly still worth it man..
