Guys, have tried to search this topic but can't find much. Just looking to top up my aircon as it takes ages to get cold. Anyone got any pics of the location to top up the gas and advice on how to do it?
just get it done at a shop. its $80 and if it fucks up later you can brin git back and punch em :P
air con SHOULD NOT need refills, EVER. teh system is totally sealed. if you need a refill, then something is wrong.
ive never had a refill in my 1994 and on a 38C day the first notch is too cold... i gotta turn it on and off... awesome air con here :P

take it to a air con specialist or your local dealer and they can regas it for you.
i get mine checked quiet regularly, basically every dealer service.
if you want to do it yourself, the air con thingy is located under the fuse box behind your passenger side head light unit. it should be a silver looking canister with a pipe or 2 coming out of it. there should also be a little black cap that covers the nozzle. twist that off and you can go for broke in refilling it.

but things like o-rings the little valve springy things start to leak a little over time, even tho it would take 5-20 years before you notice anything there is a very small leak.
they have some DIY kits with a gauge on them to let you know how much gas your adding, rember if you DIY LOW SIDE RECHARGE or else the pressure from the high side can blow the can up ......

^ and leaving it that way!
Thanks for your help. Don't fancy blowing the car up so I think I'll get it done by a pro. It used to be good and as Terrastrife said was too cold even on a 30C+ day but now it's almost not worth using.
