ok, after some cleaning up, here's what i have. the camera totally magnifies the stains and whatnot. they really arent bad at all. i'll grab some pics in the morning and show you guys. im pleased. i have to work the night shift at best buy, so i'l be posting more when i get home at 7:30am. here's what i got:
in the last pic, you can see the damage. i have all the parts to fix it. new bumper cover and lights (which are on) as well as the turn signals and corner lights and i have the new fender on. i have to finish straightening the core support and make sure everything is in line. so far, its a little tight but i can make it right.
car is beginning to look better and better already. apart from the steering wheel, interior looks great. backseat looks super-clean. what kind of fabric is it?

Is the question about the interior upholstery? Yeah, that's the standard cloth interior for Gen3 SE models. In the first couple years, I don't believe they offered leather, only that style of cloth. The bolsters are similar to an LE interior, I suppose, but the middle section is a sort of... "cordurouy" kinda material, maybe? It's Kinda unique that way. I remember when I first saw an article on the SE back in Car and Driver 1991, I was thinking "What the heck?" Then I saw it in person and thought, "Not bad."
As for the steering wheel, are you planning to refurbish to a 'stock' look, or go with an aftermarket? The hard part you'll face (as I have found) with stock is finding a black leather wheel. That was unique to the SE, I believe. Is your car Japanese built (VIN starts with J) or U.S. built (VIN starts with 4)? I have a black leather SE steering wheel I bought on eBay and while it looks great (better than yours and mine, anyway!) it doesn't fit (I think it's for a U.S. built), so I might be able to help you with this.
Do you know how to check for three-bolt or four-bolt airbag mounting? If so, let me know what you have. If not, I can explain it easy enough.
i found this funny smiley face drawn onto the trunk liner i pulled from my XLE to put into the SE. i thought it was funny so i figured some of you guys would get a kick out of it! and the last pic is a better shot of the back seat fabric. i'll post another shot of the front seat fabric tomorrow. its the same but i had a couple questions on it.
yeah, its just the valve cover gaskets. the car was well mantained, just wrecked a couple of times im making sure i give the SE a great home. its a really great car. the back seats have a few small spots of disgust, but at a quick glance and in a picture, its hard to tell.
