Gen5 Alternatives to lowering?

I do not really want to lower my car since it will be scraping everywhere, or just for the fact that it may ruin my warranty. The point is i do not want to lower it. I do not like the gap between the tire and the fender, its about 3 inches on my 18" rims. What is an alternative to getting rid of that without lowering, I looked into 19s which i may get. And 20s dont fit. (Strut mount is on the way) And also wide fenders, i was thinking about buying those wide fender kits on ebay and setting then low that way it limits the gap. Anything you guys might suggest? (no smart answers plz)

Aw dude... seriously, don't get fender flares. I think flares only look good on Gen 3's, and that still depends on what kind of kit the Gen 3 has. You really don't have much of an alternative... you either lower it, or you keep that gap.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

But seriously...the spring seat will ALWAYS be in the way. It has to come down from the spring.

yeah, side skirts fool the eye and maybe it's your style / maybe not but check out the fender flar kits, even a lower profile tire on a taller rim can fool the eye.

i'm not lowering my car either but i'll probably stiffen the springs a little as i'm in luxury mode (camry 05 xle v6) and turning is squishy.

you might try this website for bodykits
www.extremedimensions.com --> under sport compact

The only cars that have struts on the inside are trucks and SUVs. And why the hell would you even want 20s on your Camry? That looks horrible...

Even if you lower it about an inch you shouldnt scraping anywhere. Mine was lwoered almost 2" before and in FL the roads are horrible, I probably scraped like 2 times.

And warranty? Flares will ruin the warranty, no? Atleast you could get the "TRD" springs to lower it

Skirts suggested... my car for reference. Changes the stance completely from stock, even without lowering.

If you stick fender flares on you better have a much wider wheel and tire to fill it up, or else it will look a shit-ton worse with little skinny wheels sunk into the car. In other words = no.

Bigger wheels and tires with a higher sidewall will screw with the speedo (not that big of an issue), but it will accentuate the gap even more. Because you will not be able to make up that much more than a 1/2 inch and then you will REALLY have the 4x4 look with the big tires.
