Nice! I got the same HU. Its a CASKA 1605. Its a pretty good bang for the buck. 5.1 dolby, prologic function, radar and camera input, 50Wx4, independent sub, rear and center channel output and GPS input....i'm guessing a VGA input for touchscreen compatability?
Hey less, are you able to get TV reception from the that unit? When I try mines, all I get are black and white because the tuner is set to PAL mode, not NTSC. I did manage to get a NTSC tuner for it, but the reception is kinda shitty.
well....i havent really set it up properly as it was getting abit too dark and late (finished around 8pm LOL )
what kind of Antenna did you get?? Film on Glass?? and how many?? i got 2, ive only connected 1. and damn the reception were ok, but not as good as my home TV. i'll try with 2 Antennas tomorrow and see how it goes....
My unit was customized by this dude, and he changed everything inside so I can use it here in Australia. cause the US version have different Frequency
it costs me $950aud ($732usd) including 2 Film on Glass Antennas. But i think it costs alot more cheaper on eBay. coz with this one, i had to get it modified, radio tuner, tv tuner, etc.... costs me quite abit. but its worth it
Very nice indeed! I'm contemplating on whether to get a Double DIN unit or a single slot IN Dash unit that retracts. I like the idea of having the screen hidden, but your setup looks sweet. Does the view look a little low tho? cause that's what my main concern was. I want something a little higher.
you know its illegal to have a tv/video screen playing if your engine is running right?
oh yeah and its illegal to run your engine if youre not in the car too... oh fuck yeah our laws suck.
my mate got fined for having his on while he was sitting in a parking lot (engine running) waiting to pick ppl up.

This is another reason why I love my country.. There are no laws at all referring to what you can have or not in your car and there are no rules at all about what you can do or not do while inside or outside the car...
