weak exhaust output at tail pipe/normal?

Hi,
I have changed Y pipe to bosal which is not as well built as OEM but less restrictive. I have changed the cat ( OK the power seems better now) but I still get very weak exhaust flow out of the tail pipe ( feel by hand ) . Has anyone try this??????????
The start of this was first because of poor mileage and i used a vaccum guage attached to the PCV hose slowly raise the idle to 2500 and the vaccum does not also increase slowly as it should and when I quickly release the thottle it does not come back readily as it should . all these indicated a restricted exhaust. after Ichanged the cat. the situation is a little better but still not satisfactory. where else could the restriction be ?? the mid pipe resonator and muffler all seem OK on appearance. Only suspect will be the crushed look junction where the mid pipe joins the muffler.
Has anyone use their hands to feel the flow of the exhaust at the tail pipe???????
OR this is normal with Toyota cars

Can anyone help varifying this with a simple experiment, but don't get your hands burnt

I'm on the other side of the fence on this question.

I was slightly worried because My exhaust (ad idle) is coming out with alot of volume and velocity. Probably caused by the stock small diameter tubing.

that is strange becuase mine is just like hot air seeping
The bosal pipe is 2.25 amd the converter is 2.5 ID
then I might have
1. manifold gasket leak? -- but no ticking
2. tpp much carbon build up in the back exhaust pipe or carbon fouled muffler??????? or internal collaspe????????
anyone

OK I have tighten the Y pipe and the converter and also changed the pcv valve.
The exhaust out flow is a tad better and the acceleration ( power ) has gained notisably.
I still have doubt abt the muffler and the back exhaust pipe? but I have no complain on the car's performance right now.

any leaking at hte cat or b4 the cat is crucial, make sure you ARE NOT leaking at hte front of your exhaust.

bigger pipes slower (weaker feeling) gas flow.
